Car.Claims helps car owners claim and obtain rightful compensation.

The service is run by ClaimShare, a company headed up by Norway's foremost expert on complaints cases, Dag Rune FlĂĄten. Through previous legal victories he has ensured that more than 1,700 customers have prevailed against banks, the automotive industry, financial institutions and airlines. In total, these customers have received more than 45 million euro in compensation.

By participating in our complaint cases, you get your claim addressed together with a number of other car owners affected by exactly the same issues. You avoid doing all the work yourself, or paying a lawyer or another expert to do the work for you.

You can choose whether to participate for free or pay a registration fee, which means your financial risk is very limited compared to paying for the entire process yourself. We bring in competent resources, lawyers or others, to achieve the best possible result each time.

Thousands of car owners have entrusted their complaints to us and we of course take this trust seriously. We don't give up, but stand firm until the case is resolved. Some cases take time, but we keep you updated throughout the entire process through our newsletters.

If you have a car that qualifies for one of our ongoing cases, don't hesitate to sign up.

About Us
DNB

From 2014 to 2016, we ensured that nearly 1,500 customers got back more than 400 million Norwegian kroner from Norway's largest bank, DNB, after failed investments in the DnB NOR Eiendomsinvest fund. Dagens Næringsliv published an article about the case on 31.01.2015: “DNB pays out after fund fiasco”.

We won over 97% of our cases and customers got back on average more than 70% of their investment. Those who did not use our service lost more than 70%.

Tesla

In 2017 we took on Tesla's incorrect marketing of the top model Tesla Model S P85D. They claimed it had 700 horsepower, but tests showed it "only" had 462 – staggering 30% less! Around 1,500 of these cars were sold in Norway. On 30.05.2018 Dagens Næringsliv published the article "Jens Ulltveit-Moe has reached a settlement in lawsuit against Tesla".

All our customers were compensated, while those who did not claim compensation were left with nothing.

Nordic Securities

In 2017 we took on the Norwegian brokerage house Nordic Securities. They had sold their customers shares in their own parent company; Nordic Group, at fantasy prices. Dagens Næringsliv published the following article on 12.02.2019: “Reaches settlement in class action lawsuit against Nordic Securities”.

There were over 200 shareholders in Nordic Group when we took on this case, and many of them had valid claims.

Quite early in the Nordic Securities case process, we got in touch with TV2. They also showed interest in what the brokerage had done and on 17.02.2017 they visited us and made a report on our work.

Development of the service

In the early years, the complaint cases were run through the company Klagehjelp, which at its peak had over 50 employees, in addition to lawyers, investigators, accountants and other external resources. It all started with an idea and ended with me building Norway's first complaint company. Subsequently, complaint assistance has been offered through specialized projects and companies, where everything is specially designed to achieve the best possible result for each participant. I have also gradually opened up for investors to get involved, to move the processes forward.
